The works by the artist Maruša Sagadin find their impetus in the intersection of private and public space, combining elements of architecture, sculpture, and painting. With her exhibition MARUŠA SAGADIN. LUV BIRDS IN TOTEN WINKELN in the SCHIRN Rotunda, she is now turning her attention to the special features of semi-public spaces. In the form of colorful and walk-in sculptures, she has created an infrastructure for lingering, doing nothing and resting. In the exhibition film, she talks about the potential of this site-specific installation for viewing art and reveals what the eponymous “Luv Birds” and “blind spots” are all about.
