EXPERT GUIDED TOURS
The SCHIRN sends out regular invitations to experts with a particular connection to the exhibition in question – maybe because they conduct academic research in a field associated with either the subject of the exhibition or the relevant artist; perhaps they are collectors and view the works from this angle or perhaps they are artists themselves but working in a different era or in a different style. The objective of these tours is to offer an unusual perspective on the exhibition and accordingly to broaden its subject matter as well as emphasizing different aspects. Experts’ tours generally take place outside normal opening hours and take the form of exclusive events. These tours are free of charge. If not announced differently the tours are in German.
