In the ART TALENTS project, aesthetically gifted young people between the ages of 14 and 16 are supported for the duration of one year. Under the guidance of art educators, weekly courses take place for their own artistic design. The development of aesthetic concepts plays just as important a role as the examination of a wide variety of materials and techniques. As in an art academy, the participants are individually supervised. They can pursue and develop their interests and specific modes of expression in a largely self-determined manner. They learn what art is, what it can be, and discover a variety of expressive possibilities.

The project is made possible with the support of the STIFTUNG GIERSCH and is part of the joint educational program of the SCHIRN, Städel and Liebieghaus.

PARTICIPATION

Participation is free of charge. Entry into the program is based on the recommendation of teachers and after an aptitude test. The prerequisite for participation is an exceptional interest in art and artistic self-expression.

The selection process for the ART TALENTS is open untill 15 September 2024. The entrance exam will take place on 1 October 2024.
