RE-CURRENT – WATERWAYS. WORKSHOPS WITH FLANEUR MAGAZINE
Thursday through Saturday, April 7-9, from 1-8 p.m. each day and Sunday, April 10, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. with a closing public presentation from 6-8 p.m.
A series of participatory workshops by Flaneur Magazine extend the exhibition into the urban space and focus on the Main River as Frankfurt's waterway. Participants engage with the river and the paths along its banks, and consider questions about the city's past, present, and future. They will be introduced to critical journalistic working methods in urban space and will work on their own as well as collaborative editorial contributions in the form of texts, research, conversations as well as photographic, drawing or performative works. These will be presented in a final presentation and will be on display in the "WALK!" exhibition until the end of the term. The workshops are aimed at people with and without previous artistic experience. They will be led by the editors-in-chief of Flaneur Magazine Grashina Gabelmann and Fabian Saul and graphically supervised by Studio Yukiko.
