Philipp Gufler
During her time on the german casting show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar," Lana Kaiser, then still known as Daniel Küblböck, was stigmatized by the media as a freak. After her disappearance in 2018, Gufler rewrites this narrative in a media- and socio-critical way - and draws a personal portrait of Kaiser as a misjudged pioneer of the trans movement. What happened in New Orleans during the Mardi Gras celebration in February 1955?
