Artist
Film artist Maeve Brennan (*1990) works with moving image, installation, sculpture and print media to explore the political and historical resonance of materials and places. She is a London-based artist and filmmaker. International solo exhibitions have included Stanley Picker Gallery, London (2022); Wäinö Aaltonen Museum, Finland (2019); Jerwood Space, London; Mother's Tankstation, Dublin (both 2018); The Whitworth, Manchester; Spike Island, Bristol and Chisenhale Gallery, London (all 2017). She exhibited in the British Art Show 9 (2021-22) and was awarded the Jerwood/FVU Award 2018. Brennan is currently a fellow at the British School in Rome.
