Igor Vidor (*1985, São Paulo, Brazil) examines mechanisms and symbols of political power and systemic oppression in his multimedia works. His installations and videos comment on the deeply rooted violence and social injustice in the everyday lives of people in Latin America. He studied at the Centro Universitário Belas Artes in São Paulo. His work has been shown in numerous international exhibitions, including at the Berlinische Galerie (2021), Künstlerhaus Bethanien (2020); Pérez Art Museum Miami (2018); Mercosul Biennial (2018); Sesc 24 de Maio, São Paulo (2017); Museu Histórico Nacional, Rio de Janeiro (2017) and Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR) (2016). Igor Vidor lives and works in Berlin.
