The SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT is looking for a full-time trainee (40 hours per week) in the Registrar / Organization department starting March 10, 2025.
The SCHIRN is one of the most renowned exhibition venues in Europe. It focuses on art and cultural-historical themes, discourses and trends from the perspective of the immediate present. The SCHIRN’s program is diverse, international and progressive, seeking to open up new perspectives and initiate discussions. Its exhibitions are equally dedicated to positions in contemporary art and modern art.
Your Tasks
Supporting the two registrars with all the work required to organize exhibitions:
⢠Assisting with the planning, preparation and coordination of the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions
⢠Coordination and supervision of digital courier appointments
⢠Communication with artists, lenders, insurance companies, shipping companies and the various SCHIRN departments
⢠Working with the FAUST exhibition organization database
⢠Procurement and management of image material and image rights
⢠Coordinating the external team for the installation of image details and wall labels
⢠Participation in the further digitization of work processes

Your Profil
⢠Experience in the exhibition field in galleries, museums or art shipping companies
⢠Completed studies in the fields of museology, museum studies, cultural studies or comparable training
⢠Knowledge of MS Office applications and database skills
⢠Very good knowledge of German and English for communication and correspondence with lenders, artists and colleagues in Germany and abroad
⢠Organizational skills, reliability and ability to work under pressure
⢠Ability to work on multiple tracks, even under deadline pressure
