The following experts will come together for this discussion: Prof. Annette Urban (Ruhr University Bochum, specializing in New Media) researches media-based spatial relations and interconnected visual worlds. Prof. Constantin Rothkopf (Technical University of Darmstadt, Psychology of Information Processing and Computer Science, founding member and board member of hessian.ai) explores the connection between human cognition and algorithmic systems. Ariana Dongus (Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, advisor for the German Informatics Society on AI and data topics) analyzes the social and political implications of AI, particularly in the context of intersectionality, digital labor, and invisible infrastructures. Stefan Heinrich (Art Director, Crytek) is a developer in the gaming industry and reflects on the aesthetics of virtual game worlds and their impact on society. Together, they will discuss the opportunities and challenges of intelligent technologies—at the intersection of design, science, and society.
