Ursula Ströbele is a professor of art history specialising in contemporary art at the Braunschweig University of Art. She was previously a research assistant at the Central Institute for Art History in Munich, where she headed the Study Centre for Modern and Contemporary Art. In 2019/20, she curated the exhibition "Hans Haacke. Art Nature Politics" (ZI Munich, Städtisches Museum Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach). In 2024, she published her habilitation thesis "Hans Haacke und Pierre Huyghe. Non-Human Living Sculptures seit den 1960er-Jahren" bei de Gruyter.
