Newroz Duman is the spokesperson for the “Initiative 19. February Hanau”, in which the relatives of the victims of the racist attack on 19 February 2020 have organized themselves. She also works as a trauma educator, a speaker in political education, on the board of Pro Asyl and has been an activist with the self-organized initiative “Youth without Borders” for many years.
