Mohamed Amjahid was born in Frankfurt am Main and lives and works in Berlin as a political journalist, author and presenter. He writes for media such as ZEIT, Spiegel, taz and Süddeutsche Zeitung and has been honoured with the Alexander Rhomberg Prize and the Nannen Prize, among others.
