Max L. Feldman (born London, 1988) is a writer, art critic, and educator based in Vienna. He writes about contemporary art, film, culture, politics, and philosophy. He received a BA in Philosophy from Heythrop College (University of London), MAs in Cultural and Critical Studies from Birkbeck College (University of London), and Continental Philosophy from The University of Warwick, and a Postgraduate Certificate from The New School for Social Research, New York.
He also has longstanding affiliations with The New School for Social Research, The Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College, and the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna, and he has spoken at the Horasis Global Meeting.
His writing has appeared in Artforum, ArtReview, e-flux, Flash Art, Frieze, Hyperallergic, Mousse, The Spectator, Spike, Texte zur Kunst, Verso, and many others.
