Katharina de Silva studied German and journalism in Mainz before working as an editor and content expert in publishing houses and agencies. Since 2022, she has been writing freelance for online and print magazines about design, art, culture and motherhood. In 2024, she took over as editor-in-chief of the design magazine "ndion" of the German Design Council – Rat für Formgebung.
