The Dom/Römer parking garage and the Dom/Römer subway station are equipped with elevators. To reach the entrance of the SCHIRN, you can also use the ramp that leads around our SCHIRN CAFÉ BY BADIAS.
Admission
Persons with disabilities (with a disability degree of 50% or more) are entitled to discounted admission for regular exhibition visits. Accompanying persons of severely disabled individuals with the “B” marker on the disability ID card are granted free admission. Free tickets and discounted tickets can only be obtained upon presentation of the appropriate ID at the ticket counter.
Access to Exhibitions
All of our exhibitions are accessible by elevator. Wheelchair and buggy rentals are available on-site. Portable folding stools are also provided for the exhibition rooms. A disabled toilet is available, which can be accessed with an Euro key. If you do not have your own key, our friendly security staff at the ticket counter will be happy to assist you, as well as with any other questions you may have.
Inclusive Offerings
We offer public barrier-free tours for our exhibitions on specific dates. Individual tours in German sign language, in easy language, or with detailed descriptions of the artworks are also available upon request.

Accessibility
From the Dom/Römer parking garage, you can take the elevator from level -1 directly to the vicinity of the entrance. The Dom/Römer subway station also has an elevator. To reach the entrance of the SCHIRN, there is a paved ramp on the left side of the “Römer” exit of the subway station. This ramp leads around the SCHIRN CAFÉ BY BADIAS. Another way to overcome this slope without steps is the accessible elevator (accessible with a Euro key) at the Stadthaus am Markt. This elevator also leads to the vicinity of the entrance of the SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT.
All of our exhibitions are accessible by elevator. The elevator is located on the right side from the entrance. People in wheelchairs can use the elevator easily. The buttons are low, and the elevator announces the current floor. Wheelchairs and buggies can be borrowed at the SCHIRN TICKET COUNTER. We also offer stroller storage at the cloakroom in case you do not want to bring your stroller into the exhibition. To avoid longer waiting times for people with disabilities, there is an information point in the foyer during larger exhibitions. On the day of your visit, feel free to go directly there to get your free ticket for the accompanying person. The staff at the SCHIRN TICKET COUNTER will also assist you with any other questions.

To save people with disabilities from longer waiting times, we have set up a mobile info point in the foyer for larger exhibitions. Please feel free to go directly there on the day of your visit, and you will be escorted past the queue to the ticket counter to receive your tickets. The staff at the SCHIRN ticket counter will also assist you with any other questions.
Assistance dogs with a valid ID are allowed to accompany visitors in the exhibition.
There is a large bench in the foyer. You can take folding stools with you in front of the respective exhibition rooms. The seating options installed vary depending on the exhibition.
Wheelchairs and buggies can be hired on site. It is not possible to reserve a wheelchair in advance. The team at the ticket desk will be happy to help you.
We offer public guided tours of our exhibitions in simple language, guided tours with translation into German sign language and guided tours for people with visual impairments.
Tickets for barrier-free tours are available in the online store, remaining tickets are available at the SCHIRN box office on the day of the event.

The Dom/Römer parking garage with direct access to the Old Town is located directly below the SCHIRN in Domstraße 3. Disabled parking spaces are available in the Dom/Römer parking garage and in Braubachstraße.
