TICKETS
Admission prices vary depending on the exhibition. Pupils, students, severely disabled persons and the unemployed pay reduced admission if they present appropriate proof at the SCHIRN KASSE. Accompanying persons of persons with the mark B in their severely disabled ID do not pay admission. The family ticket is valid for two adults and children under 18. Refugee youths and adults receive free admission. Visitors with a culture pass pay 1 euro (children up to 13 years 50 cents). Holders of a Hessian Ehrenamtskarte get a free ticket to the exhibition. Free admission for children under 8, SCHIRN FREUNDE and SCHIRN CIRCLE members, and members of the KinderKunstKlub of SCHIRN, Städel, and Liebieghaus.
OPENING HOURS
The SCHIRN is open for you Tuesday, Friday-Sunday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Wednesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 10 PM. Admission ends 30 minutes before closing time.

PUBLIC GUIDED TOURS

DIRECTIONS AND CONTACT
Situated between the Frankfurt cathedral and the renowned Römer square, right in the heart of downtown Frankfurt, adjacent to the reconstructed "new old town" and just a few steps from the River Main, the SCHIRN is easily reached by public transport. And there are a whole host of sightseeing attractions and versatile hospitality offerings in the museum’s direct neighborhood.
USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Subway lines 4 and 5 take you directly to “Dom/Römer” station. Take the exit A "Römerberg". If travelling by streetcar use the lines 11,12 or 14 and get off at “Paulskirche” stop.
BY CAR OR COACH
Approaching from the A5 interstate, take the “Westkreuz Frankfurt” exit. If approaching from the B648 highway or the A3 or A66 interstates, take the “Offenbach/Kaiserlei” exit. Keep on driving towards downtown (“Stadtmitte/Zentrum”). Then follow the signs for “Parkbereich D, Dom/Römer”. A parking garage with immediate access to Frankfurt’s historical heart is located directly under the SCHIRN. Disabled parking is available at “Parkhaus Römer”, Domstrasse 3 as well as on Braubachstrasse. There are designated parking spaces for coaches on Berliner Strasse near Paulskirche and on the Mainkai embankment.

If making bulky or voluminous deliveries, please enter the address “Saalgasse 2” into your sat-nav system.
BARRIER-FREE IN THE SCHIRN
The parking garage Dom/Römer, as well as the subway station Dom/Römer have an elevator. To get to the entrance of the SCHIRN you can also use the ramp that leads around our SCHIRN CAFÉ BY BADIAS.
All our exhibitions are accessible barrier-free by elevator. The rental of a wheelchair, as well as a stroller is possible on site. Likewise, portable folding stools are available for the exhibition rooms. A disabled toilet is also available, which can be used by means of a Euro-key. If you do not have your own key, our friendly security staff will be at your disposal at the ticket office, as well as for any other questions you may have.
Individual guided tours in German sign language, in easy language or with detailed descriptions of the works are also possible by arrangement. Assistance dogs with valid identification may accompany you to the exhibition.
Persons with disabilities (from 50% GdB) are entitled to reduced admission for a regular visit to the exhibition. Accompanying persons of severely handicapped persons with the mark "B" in their severely handicapped identity card are entitled to free admission. Free and reduced tickets are only available upon presentation of the corresponding ID at the ticket office.
In order to spare people with disabilities longer waiting times, we have set up a mobile information point in the foyer. Please come directly there on the day of your visit to get your free ticket for the accompanying person.
MINISCHIRN
The MINISCHIRN is a creative activity and experience space for children from 4 years to primary school age. While you enjoy the exhibition, your kids will be busy discovering the world of colors, shapes and structures. The MINISCHIRN encourages young kids to explore aesthetic phenomena and to try their hands at designing and experimenting.
Admission is free for visitors with a valid exhibition ticket, for members of the SCHIRN FRIENDS and the Children’s Art Club of the SCHIRN, Städel and Liebieghaus.

Meet up with friends for coffee, lunch or dinner in a leisurely setting – either before or after visiting an exhibition. The young and highly creative culinary team of SCHIRN CAFÉ BY BADIAS will spoil you with innovative ideas.
