JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
GRAFITTI PIECE
5th grade and older in THE CULTURE
Get started with letters, numbers, patterns or symbols, and your own styles. Design a small floor or wall tile with Edding markers. It can be entirely to your taste, but should still be a recognizable expression of graffiti and hip hop culture.
POWER AND BRAND
8th grade and older in THE CULTURE
Many images and objects are also status symbols such as very expensive watches, jewelry, and fashion. Create a collage from gold jewelry catalogs and lifestyle magazines, but break the stereotypical image of desired luxurious life with other hip hop values - by inserting individual words or texts into the collage with Edding markers or by overwriting them.
GUIDED TOUR AND PRACTICE
Guided tour through the exhibition followed by a workshop. Artistic strategies are uncovered, deciphered and become a means of expression for one's personal point of view in one's own aesthetic-practical examination.
RESEARCHERS' DAY
MONDAY, MAY 13, 9 AM−3 PM
Middle school and above
As part of the Researchers' Day, pupils discover the exhibition on their own and receive impulses to engage with THE CULTURE. The students formulate their own questions, develop individual approaches to art and control their own learning processes.
